UI Showcase Management Screen
The UI Showcase is simply a collection of example user interfaces built on the m3i platform. It is designed to give dealers and partners an easy method of gaining understanding and familiarity with the variety of solutions and customisations that can be achieved.

We wanted to showcase different types of UI in an environment where they can easily be seen to interoperate. The solution comprises of two UIs that make it function and then a number of example UIs for demonstration. After installation the user selects the Java button on the MFD and starts Chameleon. Here they are shown an introduction screen that informs them where they need to point their web browser to see the list of demo UIs. Having done so, one can now launch browser UIs like the Access Module or set Chameleon to start with different UIs. The UIs run as they normally would if they were the only ones installed.

In addition to this, during set-up, we encourage the dealer to make some customisations to the introduction Chameleon screen. This involves branding the screen with the dealer's logo and name. UI Showcase Intro ScreenWe encourage this to show the dealer how easy it is to offer branded solutions for specific user problems and so that the customer is impressed with the dealer's integration abilities during demonstrations.
