Today I'd like to welcome Andrew Smith to the Dev team, we are all very pleased that Andy has agreed to come work with us.

Most of us have worked with him before on various projects as he was head of development for one of our partners before taking time-out to do some work helping people in India. Andy has a keen interest in climbing mountains (I suspect his choice of India was at least partially influenced by this) and his software expertise and experience will, no doubt, bring new perspective to the team. 

His first task will be building a .NET connector to make hooking up applications nice and easy for our .NET developers.
