Chameleon UI resource files are easily created by users or solution providers. Simply create a file that describes the layout of text & buttons on the different screens and the actions to take when buttons are activated or events occur. The exmple shown is one screen from a screen set that includes Copy Accounting (note the user's information top-right). Chameleon uses m3iR to interact with the MFD and to communicate with server applications just like all m3i components. Also Chameleon is able to use additional m3i services, if present, that are not in the MFD itself. See here for example solutions or create your own. Our designs are completely customisable. |

Chameleon is the logical evolution of selectec's earlier Chameleon and Ease-of-Use Module products. These were external hardware devices which allowed a customised screen and functionality to be defined for a particular installation. We are now able to host this inside the MFD’s LCD/touch-screen and make it easily configurable.
