Containers

User Interface (UI) Containers are applications that present UIs to users. They can be local (within the MFD) or remote (on external devices or hosted servers); they can be created by us or others (including generally available applications like web browsers). UI Containers are utilised to create a UI that will allow a user to interact with the MFD via m3i.

UI Containers typically have UI Resource Files or compiled code that drives the particular presentation application. HTML in the case of browsers and XML for Chameleon as examples.

Chameleon LogoChameleon is the logical evolution of selectec's earlier Chameleon and Ease-of-Use Module products. These were external hardware devices which allowed a customised screen and functionality to be defined for a particular installation. We are now able to host this inside the MFD’s LCD/touch-screen and make it easily configurable.
