Browser UIs PDF Print E-mail

Using standard HTML skills and tools it's easy to build web browser based, User Interface solutions that work with m3iR in a Ricoh MFD to bring a dynamic UI closer to users on their devices, on their terms. Moving the UI to an external device has a number of advantages including flexibility, accessibility and customisation.

While the controlling device is separated across the network, it is not intended that it be physically separate from the MFD. A typical usage scenario would be a user standing in front of the MFD using his own UI wirelessly from his phone or PDA.

A potential application for Browser UIs is where you want to build an external UI for a specific purpose. You may not want to create it inside the MFD screen via Chameleon or you may not be able to because the MFD has a limited screen. You can build a browser UI and either attach your host device to the MFD or use an adjacent PC. This type of application often ties-in with other things you may be running so you bring the MFD functionality into your work flow more effectively.

See here for example solutions or create your own. Our designs are completely customisable using standard web design skills.
